Programs vary in length.
Nutrition and Weight Management
These programs get clients in the best shape of their lives. Comprehensive fitness training, personalized coaching, nutritional planning and a complete assessment of your progress ensure success. The BodyWorks focus is a long term lifestyle change which encourages healthy eating and routine exercise as the keys to attaining client's goals.
While each person is unique, typical nutrition management programs incorporate:
- a health journal to monitor daily progress
- recommendations for ways to improve dietary habits
- guidelines for good nutrition
- answers to questions about which foods meet a body's needs
Programs range from 10 to 15 weeks.
Osteoporosis
BodyWorks uses the Sara Meeks Method for preventing or managing osteoporosis or osteopenia. We begin with a free initial consultation to assess a client's:
- posture
- risk factors
- balance
We use the results of these medical tests to identify appropriate interventions and measure progress. Following the program results in improved posture and a lower risk of falling.
Program usually lasts 4 to 6 weeks
Post-rehab Wellness
To instruct participants who have been through a formal rehabilitation therapy program, BodyWorks, Inc. provides a safe, medically-based fitness program. Individuals transition into community wellness without the risk of re-injury.
Program lasts 6 weeks (2 sessions per week).
Pre-natal and Postpartum Fitness
Programs vary in length. More information is available in the women's health section.
Special Seminars
BodyWorks, Inc. provides lectures on a variety of health topics throughout the community and in our office, including:
