Massage Services at BodyWorks
Current research is beginning to validate what many already know about massage therapy: it eases or prevents many common ailments. Massage can:

Please arrive 30 minutes early for your first visit so we may perform an initial health assessment. Otherwise, allow 15 minutes for changing clothes and beginning the relaxation process. Also, we recommend that you wear no jewelry and bring a contact case for you lenses.

Swedish Massage
A hands-on, full body massage of medium pressure. Relieves muscle tension, stimulates circulation, increases serotonin levels, improves muscle tone and promotes total mind and body relaxation.
Deep Tissue Massage
A firm pressure therapeutic massage. Helps alleviate pain, muscle spasms, stress, inflammation and tissue damage. Great for anyone with soft tissue problems that produce discomfort.
Reflexology
Manipulation of the relex area in the feet associated with specific areas of the body. This service provides well-being, balance and relieves stress.
Sports Massage
A therapeutic massage which includes stretching and compression techniques. Rehabilitates soft tissue dysfunction resulting from physical labor, lifting weights or sports-related injuries. Promotes flexibility, reduces swelling, relieves muscle tension and alleviates muscle fatigue.
Prenatal Massage
A gentle massage geared to relieving the muscle cramps, spasms and pain often encountered in the lower back, neck, hips and legs during pregnancy. Safe semi-reclined and side-to-side body positioning with body pillows for extra comfort.
