Do I need a prescription?

In North Carolina, a physical therapist may evaluate and treat a patient without a physician's referreral. However, BodyWorks will verify that your specific insurance plan does not require a prescription.

If you are a medicare patient, you need a referral from a doctor for the services to be covered.

How are BodyWorks' services covered?

Most wellness programs are paid out-of-pocket by clients, except for our osteoporosis program which is covered by insurance. See our pricing info. View physical therapy for information on how those services are covered.
